Live@TheRey is a free program giving school, community and emerging artists performance and technical production experience while producing high quality video and audio content.
Artists walk away with a live switched video edit, multitracked audio, and 8 isolated camera feeds of their performance ready for post-production editing.

Live@TheRey works best with 2 - 4 bands, or multiple electronic artists. When the musicians are not on stage they get hands on experience running all aspects of the technical production.
A typical sessions runs around 3.5 hrs, 9.30am - 1.20pm

Live@TheRey technical production includes:
VJ: Blend media, live video feeds, band logos and audio reactive elements together and display on the 7m X 2.5m video wall using Resolume Arena, Synesthesia.Live and NestDrop software.
Lighting Designer: Match the energy of the performance and the VJ's look to the stage lighting design using a Chamsys Quick Q 20 console.
Front of House Mix Engineer: Use a Midas M32 console to mix the band on stage.
Video director + camera switcher: Switch video feed being recorded to SD card and talk on coms to your camera Ops for best shots during the show.
Camera Ops: Use both cinematic and broadcast
cameras to get the best video feeds for the production.
